Our take: A strong limited-time markdown on a speaker with thousands of glowing reviews and serious bass for its size.
Worth it, eh? Yes for cottage weekends, backyard hangs and anyone who wants big sound without lugging a big speaker.

The soundcore Boom 2 from Anker is a portable Bluetooth speaker built around a 2.1 stereo setup: a 50W racetrack subwoofer plus dual 15W tweeters. Output runs at 60W normally, and BassUp 2.0 lets you push it to 80W max when you want more low end.
Battery life is rated at up to 24 hours, and a built-in power bank can top up your phone. It is IPX7 waterproof and floats, so the dock or a rainy campsite is not a problem. You also get a customizable EQ in the app, RGB lights and Auracast support for linking multiple speakers.
A great match for camping, the cottage, the beach or the backyard, and for anyone who finds smaller speakers too thin on bass.
