Our take: A solid limited-time discount on a well-reviewed 10-inch tablet built for streaming, reading and light games.
Worth it, eh? Yes, if you want a big-screen couch tablet or a family device and you mostly live in Amazon apps.

The latest Amazon Fire HD 10 is a 10.1-inch tablet with a 1080p Full HD screen, an octa-core processor and 3 GB of RAM. This deal is on the 64 GB version, and you can add up to 1 TB more with a microSD card (sold separately).
Amazon says it runs noticeably faster than the previous generation, and the screen uses strengthened aluminosilicate glass for better durability. There is a 5 MP front camera for video chats, support for an optional stylus for notes and sketches, and Amazon Kids parental controls built in.
It is a good fit for streaming shows, reading, recipes in the kitchen or a shared family tablet. Keep in mind it runs Fire OS, so it uses the Amazon Appstore rather than Google Play.
