Our take: A solid markdown on a well-reviewed 4K action camera kit that handles Canadian cold better than most.
Worth it, eh? Yes for hikers, cyclists and skiers who want a rugged camera with spare batteries in the box.

The DJI Osmo Action 3 Adventure Combo is marked down on Amazon.ca right now. It is not DJI’s newest action camera, but it is a proven model with strong reviews, and the Adventure Combo adds extra batteries and an extension rod so you are ready to film out of the box.
It records 4K HDR video with 10-bit colour, and DJI’s HorizonSteady stabilization keeps footage smooth and level on bumpy trails or ski runs. DJI rates it for up to 150 minutes of continuous recording at -20°C, it is waterproof to 16 metres without a housing, and it has touchscreens on both the front and back for easy selfies and vlogging. A quick-release magnetic mount makes it easy to swap between helmet, bike and handheld setups, including vertical shots.
This is a good fit for anyone who wants to capture outdoor adventures, especially in Canadian winters where battery life in the cold matters. If you need the very latest sensor or 8K-class features, look at newer models instead.
