The Logitech G502 HERO is a wired gaming mouse built around Logitech’s HERO sensor, which tracks up to 25,600 DPI with no smoothing, filtering or acceleration. It has 11 programmable buttons and a dual-mode scroll wheel that can switch between notched scrolling and a fast free-spin.
You can tune the feel with up to five removable 3.6 g weights, and the RGB lighting can be customized with Logitech G LIGHTSYNC software. Metal spring tensioning on the main buttons gives a crisp, consistent click.
It suits PC gamers who like plenty of buttons and a heavier, adjustable mouse, and it works well for productivity users who want shortcuts for editing or spreadsheets. If you prefer a very light or wireless mouse, this one is probably not for you.
