The Google Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen) is Nest’s latest smart thermostat, and this bundle includes the Nest Temperature Sensor (2nd gen) so you can balance hot and cold rooms.
From the Amazon.ca listing: it works with most 24V systems, including gas, electric, oil, forced air, heat pump and radiant, and most homes do not need a C wire. Smart Schedule learns the temperatures you like, Adaptive Eco suggests energy-saving settings based on the weather outside, and the larger borderless display can be read from across the room. Google says it can help save an average of 12% on heating bills.
It suits homeowners with central heating who want to cut energy use without fiddling with schedules. Check the Nest Compatibility Checker first; it does not work with high-voltage electric baseboard heaters.
