LOONIE METER

Our take: A popular, heavily reviewed snap-on battery pack at a fair limited-time discount.
Worth it, eh? Yes for iPhone owners who want a simple top-up in a pocket, less so if you need fast wireless charging.

The UGREEN 10,000mAh Magnetic Portable Charger snaps onto the back of MagSafe-compatible iPhones (iPhone 12 and newer) and charges without a cable. It weighs about 220 g, so it fits in a jacket pocket or carry-on.
Per the Amazon.ca listing, it can charge an iPhone 15 roughly 1.9 times. Wireless charging runs at 7.5W, and a USB-C port delivers up to 20W, so you can charge a second device at the same time. Built-in magnets and a non-slip silicone surface help it stay put, and a cable is included.
It suits commuters, travellers and anyone whose phone battery fades by late afternoon. Keep in mind that 7.5W wireless charging is on the slower side; plug in by USB-C when you need a faster top-up.
