Our take: A big limited-time markdown on a well-reviewed streaming stick with over ten thousand ratings behind it.
Worth it, eh? Absolutely, if you want to give an older TV a fast 4K upgrade or replace a laggy built-in smart TV app.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Max plugs into your TV’s HDMI port and turns it into a full streaming setup. It has a powerful processor for quick app launches and smooth navigation, and it streams in 4K Ultra HD with support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos audio.
Wi-Fi 6E support helps keep 4K streams smooth even when other devices are on your network. You can also play hundreds of games through Xbox Game Pass cloud gaming (subscription and compatible controller sold separately), turn your screen into a gallery with the Fire TV Ambient Experience, and use Alexa+ voice search to find shows, view Amazon Photos or control your smart home.
It suits cord-cutters, anyone with a non-smart or older TV, and households that want one simple remote for their streaming apps. It also makes an easy gift heading into the holidays.
